Serves two extremely useful purposes. First, it permits you to dial each America On-Line® number up to 999 times (versus 5 without it). This way, you enter your password once, and don't have to do anything until America Online connects. And, when America Online detects inactivity, it will present a dialog to you, asking: "You have been idle for a while. Would you like to remain online?" AlwaysONline automatically hits "OK" to all these dialogs. No more getting disconnected when you're browsing the web, yet fail to see the infamous dialog.
